A couple of sources report that Waterloo Ice House, at the corner of 38th Street and Medical Parkway, has closed and will reopen as a new location for the Doc’s Motorworks Bar and Garage chain. The opening is slated for around tax day (April 15th) and was precipitated by a mismatch between the site and the direction the owners of Waterloo Ice House are taking the chain. At least one of the owners is a part of both the old and new establishments.
