The Rosedale neighborhood’s 4th of July celebrations for 2020 did not follow tradition due to restrictions associated with Covid-19. In most years, Ramsey Park is the setting for a parade of decorated bikes and strollers, followed by watermelon, a balloon toss competition, a children’s carnival, and live music.
This year, individual neighbors volunteered to set out patriotic decorations. We then invited residents to wander on their own to enjoy the decorations, guided by a summary document and a map. Here you see a selection of images from various homes that participated.
