Phases II and III start for Ramsey Park improvement

phase2and3fencesIt’s been said that good fences make good neighbors. When it comes to Ramsey Park, good fences are a sign of exciting things to come as construction on Phases II and III gets kicked off. Tree protection and other prep measures that have been put in place are needed for laying the new pathways and  installation of the new playscapes.

Please be aware that for the most part the playground at Ramsey Park will be CLOSED for renovations beginning the first full week of October (starting around Monday October 6th). The play equipment will be available the weekend of October 4th and 5th. While every attempt will be made to keep the playscapes open as much as possible, the fact is that for the safety of all park users and the integrity of the equipment, the playground area may be closed for several months.

Renovations include new play equipment for big and little kids, benches, bike racks and pathways. The ball field, basketball court and tennis courts will remain open during construction. We estimate construction will take three to four months. We apologize for the inconvenience and ask that you please be mindful of all safety fencing and signage.
