Back on May 11th a storm knocked down a major tree limb in Ramsey Park and damaged a bench. The city inspected those (and other) trees in the park, and identified three that need to come down (for safety sake) and others that need trimming. Starting June 9th the city was in the park to start that work. They say that with the number of trees needing to be trimmed and the work effort involved in taking down the three big trees, this trim work may take up to two weeks. The park is open and usable but the city asks that we steer clear where work going on.
