It is once again time to say good bye to our beloved Ramsey Pool for this year.
The Rosedale Neighborhood Association (RNA), will have a party Saturday, August 12th starting at 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The RNA will provide some water, sodas, fruit, and some other snacks. Our beloved President will bring some pizza rolls too! If you want to bring food or drinks to share, please feel free to do so, or just show up and give our lovely pool a sendoff for the season. There will also be music! Come enjoy this evening with us!
More pool news: To help us beat the heat, our District 10 council member, Alison Alter, worked with the Austin Parks and Recreation Department (PARD) so that through September 30, all city pools with the exception of Barton Springs are FREE. Many in our community are struggling with the heat and this action was designed to provide some relief. In or close to District 10 these fee waivers apply to Deep Eddy and Northwest Pool. Please help us spread the word.
PARD has also arranged for six pools to extend operations through October 1. The closest to Rosedale is Shipe Pool, which will be open noon to 7pm on weekends. See the pool locations and hours here: austintexas.gov/news/six-seasonal-pools-extend-operations-fall
