By-laws – Changes to Feb 23, 2009

NOTIFICATION: Proposal to Amend the Rosedale Neighborhood Association Bylaws

Voted on February 23, 2009

The Rosedale Neighborhood Association Steering Committee proposes to amend the RNA By-laws in two ways:

  • increase the maximum number of individuals allowed to serve on the Steering Committee (skip to SC size proposal)
  • clarify the responsibilities of the co-presidents in tracking members who miss multiple meetings (skip to co-president responsibility proposal)

Based on the bylaws, this amendment requires the following steps:

  1. Introduce the amendment at an RNA Steering Committee meeting in MONTH #1 (To be proposed at the meeting on November 24, 2008)
  2. After the meeting in MONTH #1, post the amendment on the website, announce it on the mailing list, and put a copy of the announcement up at Yarborough Library (To be completed by December 1, 2008)
  3. Include an announcement of the proposed amendment in a paper newsletter (To appear in the newsletter during November, 2008)
  4. Discuss the amendment at RNA Steering Committee meeting in MONTH #2 (Will occur in January, 2009, because no meeting will be held in December, 2008)
  5. Vote on the amendment at the RNA Steering Committee meeting in MONTH #3 (Will occur in February, 2009)
