Rosedale Neighborhood Association Meeting Minutes—December 20, 2016
Call to Order
Jeff Archer called the meeting to order at 7:11 pm.
Dues
Jeff reminded everyone that dues for 2017 were now due. Dues are $10 per household.
Election of the RNA 2017 Officers and Steering Committee
Jeff introduced the members of the nominating committee. Karen McLinden, Richard and Kim Relph, Jay Carpenter and Jeff Archer all served on that committee with Jeff as the chair.
The following members are stepping down from the RNA Steering Committee:
Chris and Gina Allen
Alison Alter
Mark and Joyce Brown
Scott Farnsworth
Mindy Marble
Thanks along with gifts were presented to outgoing members. The slate of Officers and Steering Committee members for the RNA for 2017 is here. Alison Alter has resigned from the RNA slate because of her recent election victory as District 10 Representative on the Austin City Council.
Deborah DeStefano made the motion that those present elect the slate presented by the nominating committee. Michael Holleran seconded the motion. The vote for acceptance was unanimous. Congratulations were offered to the 2017 RNA Officers and Steering Committee.
Treasurer’s Report
Karen McLinden presented the Treasurer’s Report as follows:
$3000. Total reserved for Park Improvements
900. Total remaining from the Grove fundraising
4900. Total unrestricted RNA money
$8800. Total in the Treasury
Leslie Pool District 7 City Council Representative
Council Member Pool gave an update on the election for District 10 and the Grove PUD that recently was heard and passed by Council
Yarborough Library Closure
Karen McLinden announced that the Yarborough library was closing in March of 2017 for renovations. A new meeting site will be decided soon.
