Rosedale Neighborhood Association Meeting Minutes – June 27, 2016
Call to Order
Co-President Jeff Archer called the meeting to order at 6:50 pm.
July 4th Festivities
RNA’s July 4th festivities will include the promenade around the park, a watermelon feast and the water balloon toss. Many Rosedale neighbors will be out of town and there were not enough volunteers to staff all of the carnival activities, so the carnival will be canceled.
BCRC / The Grove at Shoal Creek Development
Jeff explained the procedures used by the Zoning and Platting Commission (ZAP) to conduct the Grove PUD public hearing. After a lengthy initial public hearing, ZAP decided continue the public hearing on July 5th, the next posted meeting of ZAP. On that day ZAP will postpone the public hearing until the July 14th ZAP meeting.
Welcome to Council Member Leslie Pool
Jeff welcomed City Council Member Pool to the RNA meeting. Ms. Pool announced that she will run for reelection as council representative from District 7.
Council Member Pool also reported that the Grove PUD is currently scheduled to be presented to City Council on August 18th if the application is complete.
RNA End of Summer Pool Party
Jeff announced that there would be an end of the season pool party at Ramsey Pool in August. RNA events chairs, Kim and Richard Relph will publicize time and details at a later date on the listserv and RNA website.
