Call to Order
Co-President Jeff Archer called the meeting to order at 6:50 pm.

In Memoriam
Jeff took a few minutes to acknowledge the service to the RNA of long-time Rosedale resident and RNA steering committee member, Sandy Marble, who recently passed away.  Sandy’s service to the RNA included a period in which he served as co-president.  He will be remembered for the optimistic attitude with which he approached all neighborhood issues and life in general and for the kindness of heart that was always on display during his tenure on the RNA Steering Committee.  He will be greatly missed.

Bike Austin
Mike Nuttle, a representative with Bike Austin, explained that the group was focused on education and advocacy in regards to promoting safe walking and biking in Austin.  He also gave a brief overview about the possibility of a mobility focus bond election this fall.

BCRC / The Grove at Shoal Creek Development
Gina Allen reported that the City of Austin Parks Board would consider the Grove PUD request for a superior rating for their parkland plan at their May 24th meeting.  City staff recommendation is that the Grove PUD parkland plan is not superior.  After much discussion, Chris Allen made the motion for the RNA to sponsor a resolution to support city staff’s recommendation that the Grove parkland plan is not superior.  Scott Farnsworth seconded that motion.  The motion passed.

Chris Allen also said that the zoning lawsuit in regards to the residential property on 45th Street has been served to the city.

Ramsey Park Update
Alison Alter, chair of the Ramsey Park committee, reported that planning for the paver installation process is in progress.  An installation date has not been determined.  She also announced that the committee was close to securing an artist to paint a mural on the outside walls of the pavilion.
